                 	Australasia operating from a moveable box near Foos' Hotel.

                 	Bank of Australasia premises very substantial.

IA     8. 2.1861 	Bank of Australasia a substantial brick structure.

IA    26. 4.1861 	No gold on Escort - Bank of Australasia closed, National
                 	gone to Inglewood. Problems having only one bank in the town, 
			gold is being taken and sold elsewhere. Tarnagulla is not getting credit for it.

MDA   12. 9.1862 	Bank of Australasia premises sold by Foos.

DTSE  21. 4.1864 	Colonial Bank opened. Alfred Henry Willis, Manager.
 
TC    19.12.1868 	Colonial Bank and Union Bank open agencies at Llanelly.
 
TC    21.10.1871 	Commercial Bank proposing to open a branch at Newbridge.
 
TC    23. 8.1873 	After 30. 8.1873, the banks at Tarnagulla will close at noon
