We have just added a page containing an overview of the Tarnagulla Primary School's recent unit on the history of the town. This contains an overview of how they went about it and also includes the children's work. It's great to see the children getting into the history of the town. This is well worth a look! We have just included a review of the 'Out N About in Tarnagulla' day which was held on Sunday 6th October. This was indeed a great day and full details can be found in the 'Events' section or by clicking here .

We have updated the old Tarnagulla web site with a more modern web site and many new features. Amongst these we have a better guestbook, Google search, new sections within the site for events, resources and contacts. Take a look around and let us know what you think.

Added a photo of the Wesleyan Methodist Church that burnt down.
Added new photos showing the names on the War Memorial.

24th May, 2000

Added 29 photos to the 'Old Photos' section. These include buildings, streetscapes, individuals and groups of people. Many of the photos are named.
Added a number of cases from the Tarnagulla Court Case List Book to the 'Records' section. These were kindly transcribed by Pauline Long.
Added a link in the 'Tarnagulla Today' section to an interesting story by Paul Clacher on the 'Big Cats' that have occasionally been seen in the area.
Added more names and interests to the Interests section.

Added diary extract from Albert Porter on his journey from NZ to Melbourne and his journey to Tarnagulla. Albert Porter was a minister at the Baptist Church - 1869.
