She writes: 'A photo of my Auntie Jean James nee Hamilton from Newbridge & her husband Claude James from Tarnagulla.
It was taken in May 1959 after 54 years apart.
Auntie Maggie Harrison nee Hamilton, returned to visit some of her siblings & this photo was taken at the Malone home in Marong.
Their parents John & Elizabeth Hamilton had migrated from Scotland with their young son Robert.
They established 'Rosebank Farm' at Woodstock on Loddon', near Newbridge.
They went on to have 9 more children in Australia!
Margaret Hamilton , we knew her as Auntie Maggie, was the only one of her family to return to Scotland to look after an elderly Aunt.
She subsequently married & stayed in Scotland with her husband & two sons.
One brother, Robert Hamilton who was the eldest child, traveled to USA while the rest on the family stayed in Australia.
Three of the brothers Thomas, William & James Hamilton enlisted in World War 1 and their names are on the Roll of Honor Memorial at Newbridge.'
William Hamilton also enlisted in World War 2 and left his wife to look after their family on the farm at Shelbourne.'
