Methodist Church, Tarnagulla c 1920

This photo was taken by Percy Robert Simms. He was an English photographer of some repute. For some reason he was in Tarnagulla in about 1920 and took a number of interesting photographs
A small building in the main street was opened for Divine Service by Mr Falder on October 24th. 1858. The current building was constructed by John Nottage of Newbridge at a cost of 1408 pounds and opened on 13 March 1859.
It combined with the Presbyterian Church in 1975 and the building was sold. Only the walls survive after the church was destroyed by fire in 2000
